Indented Head Yacht Club (IHYC) is to hold the AGM and presentations for sailors and swimmers, on 28 June 2025, starting at 11:00 am and finishing at 1:00 pm, followed by a social event at the club. The AGM and presentation will located in the Indented Head Hall, and the social function will take place at the clubhouse.

The business of the AGM is to :
• to confirm the minutes of the previous AGM
• to receive and consider—
o the annual report of the Committee on the activities of IHYC; and
o the financial statements of the Association for the financial year; and
• to elect the members of the Committee;

The AGM will also consider a Special Resolution to change the IHYC Constitution, recognising IHYC membership now consists of both sailors and swimmers.

Conveniently, the change updates IHYC core activities, giving clarity for Public Liability insurance and tenancy agreements.

The resolution is that sub rule 1. of rule 2 Purposes be amended from:
1. To promote, organise, encourage competitive racing and to provide training for members and visitors of all ages in the sport of sailing of yachts.
to:
1. To promote, organise and encourage recreational and competitive sailing, swimming and non-powered water-based activities and to provide training for members and visitors of all ages in those activities.

And that sub rule 2. of rule 2 Purposes be amended from:
2. To promote particular involvement of family units in sailing activities.
to:
2. To promote involvement of family units and others in the activities of the club.
