This weekend, IHYC hosted the Victorian Championships for Fireballs and OK Dinghies.

Hosting a championship regatta is a big undertaking, especially for a small club such as IHYC.

For every race start, every meal served, and every result posted, there is a team of tremendous people working hard to ensure that sailors can visit and enjoy their sailing. As always, our volunteers were the backbone of this event, and their contribution made all the difference.

IHYC is fortunate to have such a passionate and capable member community.

We hope our visiting sailors — the Fireball and OK Dinghy fleets — left with great memories, a few good stories, and a desire to return. And to our volunteers: we hope you felt as much a part of the action as those on the water, because without you, none of it would have been possible.
